Anna was born and grew up in Moscow, Russia. Although Anna was going to become a mathematician, she obtained her first degree at The Financial Academy. Over time the passion for creativity led to a second degree in Fine art/Painting at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute, named after V. I. Surikov at the Russian Academy of Arts. Her graduate art work was created under the guidance of Ochnev Andrey, to whom Anna is sincerely grateful for sharing the magic of oil painting techniques and the secrets of fine art. In 2019 she participated in the joint exhibition “Workshop 12” in the Moscow House of Artists.
Anna works not only with oil paints but also with graphic materials, including sanguine, sepia, charcoal, pastel, gouache, and watercolour. Currently, Anna is presenting a series of graphic works in the Nu style, created in the studio. The vibrant line of the coloured crayon and the ethereal model shapes on black paper will captivate the eye and fill you with emotion. The images created are varied in texture and colour. All works are framed in a black mat and baguette and covered with museum glass, allowing you to enjoy the graphics without additional distortion.
The eternal theme of alluring feminine grace cannot escape the professional artist. Let’s brush off additional comments with the words of Pierre Auguste Renoir: “Sorry, I don’t know anything about fine art, I work in the pornographic genre”.
